iBO-Hive

In the context of the upgrade of Certh (The Centre for Research & Technology, Hellas), funded by National Recovery and Resilience Plan (Greece 2.0) of the NextGenerationEU program, iBO-HIVE constitutes the new department dedicated to research and development in:

  • Knowledge-Intensive Agriculture (Precision Agriculture | Smart Agriculture | Digital Agriculture), supported by dedicated research units in agro-robotics and artificial intelligence, as well as agro-informatics
  • Reduction of the environmental footprint, through specialized research units focusing on environmental engineering and sustainability and bio-production energy systems
  • Ergonomics and industrial engineering in relation to agricultural practices and quality of life, supported by research units in the ergonomics of bio-production systems and the industrial engineering of bio-production systems.
